Intercultural Citizenship and the Unknown Italy
Discover an authentic and unknown Italy while sampling unparalleled local foods and wines, learning to bridge cultural differences, and exploring Molise’s beautiful beaches, majestic mountains, and ancient hillside villages through a variety of cultural, historical, and outdoor activities, as well as customized hands-on experiences.
You will walk away from these programs with expanded Italian language competence; a new appreciation for Italian culture and food; the Global Competence Certificate and a plan for continued personal development; and a lifetime’s worth of memories. Andiamo!
Help teach English to Italian children ages 7-17 in beautiful Filignano and Castel San Vincenzo! No certification required, only the willingness to engage in language through play, art, adventure, cooking, and sports.
- 1-hour virtual introductory Intercultural Citizenship workshop
- Intercultural Development Inventory® (IDI®) & group debrief
- Global Competence Certificate program, including four 1 ½-hour live virtual facilitated meetings (or, for higher education professionals, Navigating Cultural Differences course through True North Intercultural)

- Consider a pre-Britiland 3-week intensive university Italian language course on the Adriatic coast with Sì! by the Sea (all Britiland participants receive $100 off)
- Or add a week of personalized Intensive Conversational Italian (with accommodations in a homestay and 2 meals/day) for an additional $1,950 (either before or after Britiland)
- Include Difr Dive + and earn 3 academic credits through Northern Arizona University for an additional $750/person
