Scott

Scott, in addition to his fifteen years of teaching Latin and Social Studies, has led students on architectural walking tours of Washington, DC and trips to New York, Philadelphia, and Italy. He is an alumnus of the Classics departments at the College of William and Mary (BA) and the University of Georgia (MA), as well as the Educational Seminars Italy Classics Summer Fulbright Program.

NAU Social Work in Italy

This past month, Termoli became one of many classrooms without walls, as Northern Arizona University Social Work students spent nearly three weeks engaging with organizations across Rome, Molise, and Puglia, exploring issues ranging from gender-based violence and homelessness to disability inclusion, animal-assisted therapy, dementia care, and food security. Alongside extraordinary partners, students experienced social work not as theory, but as lived community practice.
